"any that interest me". This is tricky because many English speakers would say "have found none that interest me" (as opposed to "none that interests me" [which I would prefer]). - samdie, Feb 18, 2010
I see.... "any" uses to going with a verb in plural. - nila45, Feb 19, 2010
This is an old debate. For some (I'm one) "any" is synonimous with "any one" and calls for the singular (as does "none"). However, many people treat either/both as plural or use both sing/plu indisciminately. - samdie, Feb 19, 2010

Hi Nila,

Here is a site that friends of mine have used. I don't know if the stories are interesting. But they have various levels and quizzes to check your comprehension. English comprehension

Hi Nila,

But I have not found any that interests me

I am not sure if you will be interested in these (is there any particular subject or type of writing - i.e. scientific, nature stories, world events, fiction, non-fiction, etc - that you were particularly interested in.

Here is a site that provides passages along with a short survey a the end to test comprehension. The passages are geared towards testing 1st through 8th grade (U.S.) reading proficiencies. Practice Reading Pearson Longman

Here is one that provides several topics such as: Strange News/Fun facts; Ghosts, horror & mystery; the English language; comedy; young learners. This sight is geared towards ESL (English as a Second Language) learners. Just click on the highlighted topic and then from there click on the highlighted story that sounds interesting. ESLReading.org

Here is one that provides reading for various levels of proficiency EnglishClub.com

Their are quite a few links on this site that you might try looking through: Links to additional resources

Here are a few passages geared towards SAT test takers (college entrance exams) SAT reading comprehension
