La falsa moneda - translation - help needed
Pufff.... It's a beautiful song and though the lyrics is not really complicated, it gave a hard time. Can you look at it and help me with the part in bold, as well as revise the rest and suggest some corrections? Thank you ![]()

Cocha Buika "La falsa moneda"
.
pague tus quereres, tus quereres pague
con mala traición.
.
.
Concha Buika "The false coin"
.
Gypsy, you shall be as the false coin
that goes from hand to hand and nowhere stays,
that goes from hand to hand and nowhere stays.
.
She crossed her arms (in order) not to kill him
She closed her eyes not to cry,
She feared being weak and forgiving him
and opened the doors wide.
.
Go away, poor women, get out of my sight
rueda lo mismito que una maldición,
que un día me permita que quién tú más quieras
pague tus quereres, tus quereres pague
con mala traición.
.
Gypsy, you shall be as the false coin
that goes from hand to hand and nowhere stays,
that goes from hand to hand and nowhere stays.
.
She kissed the thin black tendrils / the thin black earrings (???)
that he left there when he went away.
And the braids of blackthorn hair
That she cut for him the other day.
.
When he was leaving, he didn't try to look at her,
he didn't cry, nor did he say goodbye.
Half-closed the door and not to call her,
he sank his nails,
he sank his nails, in his heart.
.
Gypsy, you shall be as the false coin
that goes from hand to hand and nowhere stays,
that goes from hand to hand and nowhere stays.

I think it's something like this:
Gypsy, Youll be like a counterfeit coin
That gets passed from hand to hand and doesnt stay with anyone
That gets passed from hand to hand and doesnt stay with anyone
He crossed his arms so he wouldn't kill her
He closed his eyes so he wouldn't cry
He was afraid of being weak and forgiving her
And he threw the doors open wide.
Go away, wicked woman, get out of my sight
It comes around to be the same exact thing as a curse (or, maybe, What goes around comes around in a curse)
That one day the one who you love the most
Repays your love, repays your love with betrayal
He kissed the fine black earrings
That she left there when she went.
And those braids of blackthorn hair
That in another time she cut for him
When she walked away, he didnt try to watch her
He didnt start crying or tell her goodbye
He closed the door halfway and so that he wouldnt call her
He dug his nails into his heart, he dug his nails into his heart
Gypsy, you shall be as the false coin
that goes from hand to hand and noone keeps,
that goes from hand to hand and noonee keeps.
.
He crossed his arms (in order) not to kill her
He/She (not clear) closed her/his eyes not to cry,
He feared being weak and forgive her
and opened the doors wide.
.
Go away, bad women, get out of my side
roll just the same as a curse,
that one day allows me that whom you most love
pay your loves/wishes, your loves/wishes pay
with bad betrayal.
.
Gypsy, you shall be as the false coin
that goes from hand to hand and noone keeps,
that goes from hand to hand and noonee keeps.
.

I think that should be the most close translation. The part you are asking for is hard to translate because it's made for fitting in the song like repeating "pague tus quereres, tus quereres pague" means to pay for the love she is asking, something like that. Hope it helps, maybe people with better level in english can give you the best translation ![]()
no matarla - and I translated it to "in order not to kill him"
It changes the meaning completely; thank you!
