Idioms in Spanish

Question

I'm looking for a good source of idioms in Spanish. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, don't look a gift horse in the mouth... If possible I'd like to be able to research the origen as well as the idiom itself. Thank you for your help.

¡Hola!

You’re in luck. I just bought the best book that I have ever found.

I believe it is the new version of a previous book.

It is called Barron's 2001 Spanish and English Idioms.

I like it because it has both Spanish and English entries.

The ISBN is 0-7641-3744-1

It cost $16.14 for non-members and 14.52 for members a Barn's & Noble.

Here is a link to the book on bn.com

We have several previous threads containing idioms or links to sites where lists can be found. Search keywords: "spanish idioms" or just "idioms".
