Would it be correct if I just said "duro"?

Would it be correct if I just said "duro"?

I'm working on an assignment for my Spanish class, in which I'm supposed to come up with sentences based on the pictures. One picture is of several firefighters, and I want to say that they work hard. I can get this far: Los bomberos trabajan... and then I'm not exactly sure if just saying "duro" after this would be correct.

Thanks! grin

duro would be correct. You´d be using an adjective as if it were an adverb.

You can also say: arduamente.

Trabajo duro. Cualquier atleta sabe que no hay gloria en la pista sin trabajo duro en el campo de entrenamiento.
