Enfadar vs. enojar

Do these verbs mean exactly the same? Or are they used differently?

"enfadar" means more along the lines of being 'fed-up' or bothered by something - enedina, Feb 17, 2010

Well, like i posted in the comment one line up and like marianne said, enfadarse and enojarse are synonyms, but enfadarse is more used in Spain, while enojarse is more used in Latin America.
Me, that im from Spain, never used "enojarse" while the people from Perú, Colombia, Ecuador... that are living on Spain use it a lot.

Hi Chica.
I believe that "enfadar" is used more in Spain and "enojar" is used more in Latin America.

I learned enfadar from a book and enojar from the flashcards here on the site, so I figured both were used in Spain - chicasabrosa, Feb 17, 2010

Interesting that, because personally I've only heard enfadarse in Spain and saw "enojarse" for the first time here via the flashcards.
I wonder if a native of Spain could enlighten us?
