When I use the computer translator it tells me that they mean the same thing "I am" is there certain ways that you are suppose to use them or are they interchangable? And if I was too say "yo no tengo dinero" could I drop the "yo" and it still mean the samething, the translators have me a bit confused. Any help is appreciated thanks!

The topic that you need to research is Ser .vs. Estar. They are not interchangeable. We have many previous threads, video lessons and Reference articles contrasting their use.
