empingorotado, francmasónica

I'm reading the novel "Germana" in Spanish. I've come across a couple of frases I can't understand.

...un mundo menos empingorotado...
and
Todo aristocracia es naturalmente francmasónica.

Can any native speakers help me out here?

Thanks.

Thank you! Did you know this (native speaker), or did you find them in a dictionary? The on-line dictionaries that I used didn't have them.

empingorotado+ a person with high social status that brags about it.
