Your post needs to be spelled correctly. In Spanish, the accent characters are very important because the meaning of the words change depending on whether there are accents or not.

In English, "wat" is spelled "what".

Welcome to the forum. I think that it means: How are you? Thanks for accepting my hand or for shaking my hand which is, in my opinion, an overly polite, though serious, courtesy used to express gratitude for the fact that you are giving them your time. It's not uncommon to hear such courtesies when someone is addressing a boss or someone perceived to be of higher position.
