I see this word a lot online and it seems to be related to driving. Can you tell me what it means: arrancones. None of my translators will work for this word

Sometimes when you cannot find a word in the dictionary, you might find an entry at a site such as Wikipedia. Here, indeed, I found your word and it does, as you suspected, have to do with driving! Arrancones

I thought it might be helpful to look at one more thing: the meaning for "arrancar"...the verb related to "arrancón"

Here we see an entry from the Gran Diccionario Oxford.

arrancar intransitive verb

1 a [motor/vehículo] to start;

el tren (the train, too)

Está a punto de arrancar. = The train is about to leave.

¡no arranques en segunda! don't try and move off in second gear!

"On a lark", I decided to check the word "arrancón" in the RAE (Real Academia Español) dictionary (Spanish to Spanish) online. Arrancones is the plural of arrancón.

Here the entry:

arrancón.

  1. m. El Salv. y Méx. arrancada (? salida violenta).

  2. m. Méx. Comienzo de una pelea.
