can anybody name a site for slow spoken spanish? all the sites i am recommended on skype are too fast with too many new words! george

You should check out LoMasTv.com.

There are only a few sample videos, but then if you pay, you have access to many more. You can watch Spanish videos at full speed with Spanish and/or English subtitles, double-click words in the subtitles to get their meanings on the site, click back to re-watch that particular sentence, or.... slow down the fast speech until you can understand it at normal speed.
