How can you clasp someone's hands together in such a manner that they cannot leave the room without unclasping them?

good one ..
if they have something in the middle .. like a pillar or column and hands are clasped surrounding that, then they'll have to unclasp

If you clasp their hands around something larger than the doorway, then they have to unclasp to leave. Nice riddle!
