Great question, now you all are making me sweat.( I know Spanish by inspiration rather that perspiration) Usos del subjuctive( in Spanish) After verbs of command and request Le ruego que no lo haga…I beg you not to do so

Me piden que vuelva……….They ask me to return

After verbs of willingness (wishing) Deseo que usted me lo diga....I wish you to tell me.

¿Quiere usted que se lo diga?.... Do you want me to say it?

The subjective can be use in a noun clause Siento que lo hayan roto…. I am sorry they broke it (the key word here is siento a subjective is used to show emotion “siento” “I am sorry”.

Me alegra que esten aqui. I am glad they are here.

  *alegra*shows feeling.... *I am glad*

To express a fact A pesar que trabajo mucho, gano poco…Even though, I work hard, I earn very little

Don't forget the time clauses

Cuando me lo digan , se lo dire.... When they tell me, I will tell you.

more to come..unless I get distracted which happens often..short attention span.
