How do you say: Is your apartment uninhabitable?

I am an attorney in Los Angeles and need to ask some low income Spanish speaking tenants from Mexico and Central America the following quesitons. I want the questions to be as short as possible?

  1. Is your apartment uninhabitable?

  2. Has your landlord refused to make repairs?

  3. Does your apartment lack heat, hot water or other important items?

  4. Is your apartment infested with cockroaches no matter what you do?

  5. Has your apartment been cited by the City for health and safety code violations?

  6. Have all your complaints to the landlord been ignored?

Thank you!

best answer ever but vote me:

•Is your apartment uninhabitable? esta tu apartamento inhabitable? •Has your landlord refused to make repairs? tu arrendatario se ha negado a hacer reparaciones? •Does your apartment lack heat, hot water or other important items? tu apartamento carece de calefaccion, agua caliente o de otras cosas importantes? •Is your apartment infested with cockroaches no matter what you do? tu apartamento esta infestado de cucarachas a pesar de lo que usted hace para evitarlo? •Has your apartment been cited by the City for health and safety code violations? su departamento ha sido citado por violacion del codigo de seguridad y salud de la ciudad? •Have all your complaints to the landlord been ignored? todas sus quejas hacia su arrendatario han sido ignoradas? now vote me dude

Stop asking people to vote you... Have you seen you've been flagged already? Your answers are ok, but you can't ask people to vote you... - Benz, Feb 9, 2010

The translations by hansitobonit mostly sound good. However, there are some confusions of informal and formal pronouns that will make them confusing, and it would be better to have the accent marks. I think that using formal pronouns will be safer.

You should also find out what word is used for landlord in your area. I´ve heard casero before, but I imagine there are others.

•Is your apartment uninhabitable? ¿Ésta su apartamento inhabitable?

•Has your landlord refused to make repairs?

•Does your apartment lack heat, hot water or other important items?

•Is your apartment infested with cockroaches no matter what you do?

•Has your apartment been cited by the City for health and safety code violations?

•Have all your complaints to the landlord been ignored?

:) - Benz, Feb 9, 2010
