Tener que is perfectly correct... It means 'must' .. tengo que hacer mis deberes
I must do my homework or

Me tengo que ir I must go now (a use of the irse verb) but quite a handy phrase -

I am not that experienced at Spanish so there may be further thoughts on this one.

Yes, it does.

But shouldn't it be Carla tiene tomar el autobús. I don't think the que is needed.
