conversational, colloquial Spanish

Hello, I don't know what about you but I memorise all Spanish colloquial and slangy expressions much quicker than other words. I don't know why, maybe because I have it somewhere in my mind that when I eventually happen to find myself somewhere abroad I wil probably talk to normal people and have a loose chat instead of giving a lecture at a university on a specialist subject wink Of course, it's an exaggeration but for all of you who are very much into conversational Spanish I recommend the following link. Check it out, I think it's worth having a look. A mi me gusta mucho! http://myspanishnotes.blogspot.com/

But do you think that colloquial expressions aren't an important component of any language? Anyway, enjoy! :) De nada. - bomberapolaca, FEB 7, 2010

good one, but Mexican. It's not bad at all, but i wanted to stress the fact that it is slang from Mexico, it does not work out in other places, like in Moscow or Madrid. wink before Stalin, we were about to fall down the canyon. Thanks to him, we made a step ahead.

I think that Mexican Spanish is really nice and well-mannered, so to speak, so no wonder that it doesn't work in Spain :P In Poland we, thanks to Stalin, made a "drowning down"! Congrats! - bomberapolaca, FEB 7, 2010
