Is there no "one word" that defines consuegra or consuegro, other than to say mother-in-law or father-in-law of my son or daughter?

Not in English. You could say, "the mother of my wife" (in my case, I am a male) or "the father of my wife". This is not a common way to express these two words though. Mother-in-law and father-in-law are the appropriate ways. Hope this helps. smile

The mother or father in law of one of your children , not your own . Example the mother of my sons wife I would refer to her as mi consuerga .

"consuegra" - why did you dig this thread up from 2010? Why not post your own thread? - ian-hill, Apr 17, 2015
