¡Aha gracias DR1960! Entiendo. So it's not diga a mi abuela it is la diga a mi abuela? But what i don't understand is, doesnt the "a mi ABUELA allready stay's for HER ( LA ) Wouldnt it be in english Please tell her my grandma. Isnt that doubled the la and abuela? Or am i thinking to much in german? And if there would a La shouldnt it be Diga a la abuela. I appreciate any help that i can get.Sorry that i'm asking to much but i need to understand it not to copy your text. wink Kind regards Vivi

i dont know what the LA diga means.i thought its like diga a....or diga me

La in this case is the direct object pronoun referring to "her" (abuela) - "Say it TO her". It is placed in front of the conjugated verb. "digame" (one word) is more a command - "tell me..."
