I'm pretty sure I've also heard: "¿De qué edad es Ud.?"
I could be remembering wrong, however.

There are different ways to ask this question depending on the person with whom you're speaking. If you are speaking to an older person, or someone you have regards for, you would say "¿cuantos años tiene?". If you are speaking to a friend or someone of similar age you would say "¿cuantos años tienes?"
