What did I do wrong here? (Use of ser/estar)

The following sentence of mine is not correct, but I don't understand why (I know it has to do with my use of "es").
Can you explain what I should use in place of "es" and why? Thanks in advance.
"Mis cursos favoritos es psicología y biología."

Hi and welcome to the forum,
The problem here is that "cursos" is plural. You need to use the plural form of "ser" which is "son'.

You need the plural form of "es" here because you are talking about more than one subject.
