HI!!! I need some help.... What is "La Madeja Roja"? It's suppose to symbolize something. I think it means and represents something with blood. It's really important so please help!!!

ALSO, my teacher said it had to do with the myth that 3 women cut the string, life, to determine one's destiny.....

People have already said it, but I will restate that it means threat, yarn, etc. I remember taking a Greek and Roman Civilizations class in 7th grade, where we learned A TON about both areas of mythology. The word would definitely tie into(that pun was definitely, yet nerdily, intended) the three women of fate.

As mentioned previously, 'madeja' means a processed bundle/bundle of yarn, wool, cotton etc. like you would buy in a shop.

So it could mean the 'red bundle of wool' - but that doesnt relate to blood

In spanish we have a similar word: "madeja", it is like a thread bundle or something like it. But definetively, "medeja" does not mean anything
