Question

If you send an email to a person that has chosen not to accept personal messeges will you get a response telling you (like with regular email i.e., "undeliverable") or are you left to wonder if they are just ignoring you, etc.?

Good question. I just turned mine off. Someone please try to send me a PM and let's see what happens.

I don't want to leave mine off for very long, because I love PMs.

I'm glad you mentioned PM's.

I'd turned mine off some time ago from a general rule to limit emails from addresses that aren't familiar to me.

But it's a good feature, and I just switched mine back on.

HI billy, I did not know this myself, but on the top, where it normally says: your message has been sent ...your post has been posted....it says: this member does not allow....

so you are actually advised by the system.
