More Views?????
Why is that some people get so many views on their questions?? Yes I understand that some people have more reputation on this site so therefore more people look at their stuff but I dont really think its fair to not look at other peoples stuff who might have a very important question to ask... just curious.

I'm not sure that reputation is a contributing factor as to why a question will receive more views. Rather, I would think that a higher reputation would indicate that the user has a history of giving acceptable answers, giving their answers more credibility. I personally dont look at the reputation if I am going to try and answer a question or review a topic. If the topic interests me, then I take a look .
Therefore, my advice would be to make your header a little more descriptive and unique in order to catch peoples attention. For instance, your header More Views???? does seem to catch the eye, but it really doesnt spark the mind. It really is about marketing yourself, the newspapers with the catchier headlines are the ones the people will pick up and read while in line at the grocery store, right?
I would have titled your question more like this: I cant live unless I know all the tricks in getting more views!!!
(that is, of course a slightly pretty exaggerated statement)
So,are you here to learn Spanish, or get views on your threads?

There is at least one thing that people with reputation do: use correct spelling and capitalization in their posts![]()
Really, reputation is not the point, the point is to post something either interesting or helpful, if possible both
And it is obvious that people who are around a lot have more experience. In any case, all questions are answered on this site, you will not find unanswered questions, except one . And I think this member has a lot of reputation
Seeeeeeeee? Nothing to do with it, jeje
There just aren't as many people on this site as there used to be, it seems. The less people the less views. Reputation has little to do with it I think. Still, now that I have posted in this thread you are sure to get some views.
Also the thread has to look interesting, no matter how many reputation points a person has.I have posted thread that were absolutely brilliant in my humble opinion that never got that much business.
No one is interested in discussions about bones.
Hey Mel,
You bring up an interesting question. Reputation may play a small part in number of views. For instance, Isabella puts out two excellent threads every day. You know you can count on them and some look forward to participating. There are too many people to mention, so I don't want to name names, but there are several people you can always count on. Of course, anything by Heidi or Eddy gets our attention, they are after all, our fearless leaders here.
That being said, I don't necessarily avoid posts because of reputation points. In fact, I probably spend the majority of my time answering posts from very new people or even first timers.
Other than that, as was said previously, I usually click on a thread with an interesting title. The title has to be be somewhat catchy, but truthful. You don't want to lead with "Help, I'm about to jump off a bridge!" only to have someone click on your thread to read "Please help me conjugate saltar." Eventually, people won't believe you, at least not for long.
So bottom line, I think everyone has a fair shake around here. Sometimes you can create a great thread, but there aren't as many people on or for whatever reason, it slips quickly off the top page. I once started a thread congratulating someone for reaching 10K. These always get a great response, with people ready and willing to congratulate others. However, for no particular reason, this post went virtually untouched for hours and hours until finally, the answers starting pouring in.
So be creative, provide interesting subjects, but most importantly, be patient.
buena suerte
