Im not exactly sure what you're trying to ask but ill give you my answer on how i think your asking it... you can tell how much a guy loves you by his respect for you as a person and his emotion. Love isnt a feeling(well it is but..) Love is a trust. You have to trust in him that he wont break your heart when he says he loves you. And you will just get a feeling of love. Love isnt complicating.. yes i know im fifteen but over christmas break my boyfriend told me he loved me and was dead serious about it. I took it really hard so im just giving you my opinion on how you could tell he loves you. Well i hope that helps you!!! 
In my humble opinion, If you love yourself,you will know the answer to your questiion. I mean how does he treat you? does he try to manipulate you? doe he try to make you ashamed of yourself Is he always angry around you? does he tell you he knows better that you. What does he says about his mother? how does he treats his mother? And finally, you just have to observe his behavior and time will tell- I kid you not.
