How do I conjugate freír?

Question

Cannot use the conjugation tool for freír or freírse.

Is it the same endings as reir? If so, why is it "he frito" and not "he rito"?

Also, if to fry is freír, what is freírse? Wouldn't tomar sol be better?

I have already reported the conjugation problem.

tomar el sol is correct and the most used, freirse al sol, is exagerating.
