Not enough time to answer??

Not enough time to answer??

When completing lessons has anyone noticed that you only get about three seconds to type out an answer and when the answer requires accented letters and such 3 seconds is not enough time. is there anything that could be done about that? Thanks!!

Mel,

If you are using the US International Keyboard as described in This Document, you can type Spanish letters, accents, and punctuation very quickly.

On the flashcards it should be no problem to get 150 points per lesson, getting 18 out of 20 correct and averaging 8.3 points per correct answer.

Assuming you get 195 or better on both the recognize and recall sections, and 100 for the video, that will give you 640 points. From there you will easily achieve 940 points, which is well over the required amount to pass the lesson.

Does this answer your question? If not, please clarify with a follow up.

Goyo, would it not be faster yet to use the "native" teclado español? yes, a bit of memorizing where the keys are is required, but .... maybe rewarding? - Janice, Jan 26, 2010
I suppose, so. I never thought of that. It seems like a lot to remember if you ask me. - Goyo, Feb 10, 2010

You get 30 seconds but it takes 3 seconds to go from 10 to 9 etc... It's a game so you have to get faster to get the high score. It sounds like I'm joking but I'm not. Try to beat my scores. Can't do it the first time, try again and get better scores. You can learn that way, see repetition can be fun and is necessary.

I don't think so. People have talked about this before.Typing that fast makes it a typing test not a language test, so just accept you know the answer and forget about a perfect score unless your goal is typing fast.

You can click options, then clip flip terms. Which means you will get a spanish word and you have to type an english word. No accents are needed! I hope this helps.
