This drawing is nice
I want to say: este dibujo es bonito.
I would like to know if "this drawing is nice" and "this drawing is pretty" are correct expressions. Thank you.

"This X is nice." conveys pretty much the same meaning as "Este X me gusta." (it's very general - could be said of a picture, book, meal, etc.) Other other hand, I suspect that had you said to Picasso (in reference to his Guernica), "Esta pintura es linda.", he would not have been pleased.
Yes, "This drawing is pretty" would be correct.
"This drawing is pretty" would be a compliment to the person who drew the picture. "This drawing is nice" has the connotation that it is not a bad drawing but not beautiful either. Hope this helps1
Samdie hit it right on the nose. "Nice" or "Pretty" fall into rather the same category but context as usual comes into play. For amateur artists, either would be a compliment however I think the problem with "pretty" is it's feminine connotation which may not suit certain paintings. Certain types of art may be striking, pleasing to the eye and powerful but far from being "pretty". I hope this answer helps you Nila.
