Translation Exercise For Beginners:

I noticed that there are a lot of intermediate and beyond translation exercises. Which is great for those who have advanced that far in language, so I thought I would do an exercise for beginners. It's simple. Translate the following sentence as best you can without looking at the other translations posted. I will post an English translation soon!

Cuál te gusta más? Una persona que sabe mucho pero no dice nada, o una persona que no sabe nada pero habla mucho?

Which do you like more? A person who knows a lot but says nothing, or a person who knows nothing, but says a lot?

Perfect job on this one! Look for more of my beginner threads...the next one should be just a little more challenging! - renaerules, Jan 27, 2010

Thank you!! I always feel bad not participating in the other translation games but they are way beyond my ability. I was able to figure this one out without peaking and without right clicking on any word but it did make me think a little. If you have the time to do more of these I would greatly appreciate it.

This is awesome. Thanks so much for posting this. The intermediate translation posts are always way beyond my knowledge, but I so wanted to practice translating something. I could actually translate this without looking every other word up in the dictionary. smile Wonderful idea!

Sorry, Rena, this needs too much atention, and I have no time to take up yet another correction. If you can find somebody who can do the corrections on your posts, please let me know.
