I don't understand Gender, Number and Position. Please can you help me to understand it.

Thank you,

Ellos_________estudiantes de Polk State College. I'm suppose to put a verb in the blank. I don't understand what I'm suppose to put there.

It looks to me as if the one of the verbs for "to be" should be conjugated and placed in that sentence so that it reads, "They are students of Polk State College."

Since it is describing a state of being, I would use "ser." As it is preceded by the word, "Ellos," and followed by a plural word, I would conjugate it to the third person plural form in the present tense: son

Ellos son estudiantes de Polk State College.

Well my friend, you have to hit the books once in a while. The whole gender, number and position is too complicated to explain here and I feel that I would be wasting my time and your time but writing a couple of sentences on the subject.

I don't know what GNP is either but the answer is "son". It's from the verb Ser.

looks like they are asking for the third person plural conjugation of ser or estar.
