How do i get the sound to work on my lessons??

when completing my lessons i no longer can do the 'listen' section of each lesson.. It just doesnt work anymore. i have the volume on my computer adjusted so that i could hear it but now no sound comes out at all. any suggestions on how to get this working so then i can complete my lessons? ¡Gracias!

The sound does not work on many of the lessons. I have noticed and reported this but it seemed to work fine for everyone else. I use Opera browser so that may be your problem. Also, if you only have one speaker that works some of the lessons appear to be coming from only one speaker and not stereo. Also, if one of the vocabulary words is missing then all of the following words will be silent. Sometimes Paralee will miss a random word in the list and that word will be silent. Once you come up to that word then the rest of the list will also be silent. You just have to restart the listen and hope that the word is later in the list.

Mine work like Goyo's. After doing many flashcards I have noticed that there are some of the same words that don't sound on different cards. I think it may be a windows problem. - billy-jones, ENE 24, 2010

Check setttings in the pop up blocker , there was an M.S update they may have reset yours to defualt, wich blocks flash player, may or may not help.

Are you sure it doesn't work? When I do the lessons, the first thing is an advertisement (a Chevy ad for me) This ad lasts 20 seconds, and has no sound.

I don't know if it's supposed to have sound or not, but it doesn't After that, the lesson begins. And the sound is fine.

Another thing I notice is that every now and then I begin a lesson video and the 20 second advertisement doesn't start. The spinning icon just spins and spins. Usually I can fix this by hitting my "refresh" button. Then the ad starts. And then the lesson.

Just a thought. If it was working before, and if it is not a problem with the site itself, which it shouldn't be, check 2 things on your computer.

1. Check the small sound icon on the bottom task bar to make sure it doesn't have a red X. If it does, just click the sound icon and turn off mute.
2. If you have recently moved your computer, make sure your sound plug is in the green hole.
