¿Cómo se dice: "as" en español?
I'm just curious how to say that, since I just realized I don't know how to say "as" en español! I know how to say:
we refer to it, pero no sé cómo se dice la palabra "as." ¿Es correcto para usar "que"? Por ejemplo:
Lo referimos que la montaña rusa.
(Random, I know!) We refer to it as the rollercoaster.
Is that the correct way to say this? ¡Le doy gracias por su ayuda!

As, depending on the use of the word, could also be "mientras" as in "me lo contó mientras paseábamos"--she told me as we walked along. Also, "tan...como..." ---as tall as I am "tan alto como yo", "como si" ---as if, as though. Hope this gives you the itch to look up some more translations for "as". 
The Google translator gives Nos referimos a él como a un perro for We refer to it as a dog.
Generally, como = as
