Which one would be appropriate?

If i said to someone "You are my enemy"

Would it be appropriate to use "Tú eres mi enemigo"

or " Usted es mi enemigo."

I figured it would be better to use the first one, because you are familiar with this person, and you don't necessarily want to show them any respect.

am i right or wrong on this one?

I think it depends on who you are and who you are talking to. If you´re about to get into a street fight, definitely "tú". But if you are (for example) a lawyer communicating a cold lack of respect to the opposing lawyer, I think you would use "Usted".

Good response, Kattya. It depends on the situation. - CalvoViejo, Jan 20, 2010

the first one because, as you said, you are familiar with this person and you intend to make such a strongly aggressive statement.

I thought you might want to say:

No eres amigo mío (you are no friend of mine)
