How do you say "I am wearing socks"

I understand that verbs are different. For example, I run= Yo Corro and I am running = Estoy corriendo. But not all are like that. I go=yo voy and i am going is also yo voy. So I am wondering what do with "to wear" and " i am wearing"

Actually you´re first idea was right. (Almost) all verbs have 2 tenses, as you said:

I run= Yo Corro and I am running = Estoy corriendo.

"ir" (to go) is an exception, meaning you CAN¨T say "estoy yendo". (According to my grammar book, it is the only exception)

So, llevar is one way to say "wear".

Llevo = I wear, Estoy llevando = I am wearing.

I think in English it is more common to say "I am wearing", but in Spanish it is more common to say "llevo".

Great question, by the way, and welcome to the forum! smile

I think the only exception is estar: you can't say estoy estando. - lorenzo9, Jan 19, 2010

You can use yendo, its correct ejemplo. Estoy yendo a tu casa estaré allí en diez minutos. Si se puede usar el gerundio del verbo ir. estoy yendo al sur es otro ejermplo.
