Recent Listening Exercises

Question

I know for a fact that the recent story about the rescue from the building ruins in Haiti took Heidi some time to organise, plus the fact, reading all our replies must have been arduous as she sees us murdering her language. This post also applies to the work put in by Carlos with his listening excecises of late. I would therefore, on behalf of all the members, like to thank both of them for some very interesting posts.

I hink they are great.

I haven't managed to actually answer any of them yet - the temptation to cheat and read the other answers has been too great - but every time I try I come a little closer to one day being able to attempt an answer of my own.

I do hope that they, and everyone who posts on here, realizes that the fact that some of us are not able to answer their questions doesn't mean that we are not reading, learning from, and appreciating their hard work

Agradezco su reconocimiento a nuestra labor. Desde mi perpectiva, he tratado de poner énfasis en el tema del reconocimiento de la pronunciación del español.

Me encantaría que el sitio, es decir, SpanishDict, diera las facilidades para registrar dichos audios, generándo así una interacción entre todos los miembros, con el fin de permitir mejorar tanto el oído cómo la pronunciación del español y del inglés.

Cuando se incorporen estas facilidades, creo que este sitio web, dará un salto a una nueva etapa, para hacerlo mejor de lo que ya es.

Hi Eddy, Would you be so kind as to include a link or two to the posts to which you are referring. Only occasionally able to stop in here at the forum, I am not aware of the work you are talking about and am sure I would appreciate anything that Heidi or Carlos undertake to do.

I wanted to have a go at Heidi's thread, but unfortunately had some problems with loading the recording. It would be great if we had such a recording tool here on SpanishDict.
