Even more awesome new game!!!
Okay, so we did this in school, and I taught my friends Spanish! So you think of a Spanish word or phrase, and you try to find an Snglish word that sounds like it. Or you can do it vice-versa.
For example, my Spanish phrase is "Hasta mañana" which means "See you tomorrow"
My English word is "Banana" or "el plátano" in Spain, "banana" in Columbia, or "cambur" in Venezuela.

Smooth operator = Bus pa' Pereira
I didn't come up with this myself. I got it from a Colombian comic that makes fun of how people make up their own words for songs in English. It literally means "bus to Pereira", a Colombian town.
Another one I got form one of my co-workers (from Cuba) is:
Another one bites the dust = Abramos las papipaps
(I think papipaps is a kind of chip there...) It means "lets open the papipaps".
Okay fine ill give it a chance...oh wait...the directions don't even make sense.
My daughter used to say:
anaranjada = orange, sounds like "Ana ran harder".
It helped her remember.
how about this one:
gratis = free thank you = gracias One always says "thank you" after receiving something free.
Come on, give it a chance, people!
