Etiquette in Spanish Speaking Countries

My family might be going to Mexico or Spain this summer. I was wondering if there are any major etiquette, routine, or manner differences in Spanish speaking countries. Thanks!

There are so many different Spanish speaking countries, and I'm sure they each have some variation in customs.

I have never been to Spain. I have spent quite a bit of time in Mexico though. I have never once encountered any mistakes with etiquette or manners. I think that is why I have such an affinity to this country as well as to others in Latin America. Most of the people are very relaxed and extremely helpful with learning the language and with just about everything else!

I have not found the same to be true everywhere I have traveled, or with every group of people I have encountered. But as far as Mexico is concerned, you can just go and relax and enjoy practicing your Spanish! cool smile
