grazna- is it a word?

If you say "a bird caws," would that translate as "un pajaro grazna?"

(spansih was my first langauge, but english is my primary one)

By the way, the pronunciation given by our dictionary is a bit "off" for this verb. For people who use the "seseo" (as does our synthesizer) the "s" sound should be voiced (sounds like the English "z") before voiced consonants (such as "n").

Oddly enough, they get right the pronunciation of "durazno" which should present the same problem. - samdie, ENE 17, 2010

Although I am not sure who reads the story, you can hear this verb used several times in various chapters of Luis Sepúlveda's tale Historia de una gaviota y del gato que le enseña a volar
