Commas versus periods in Spanish.

I know commas are used a lot instead of periods when it comes to numbers in Spanish.

How would you say " 7,3 % "

In English we would say, "Seven point three percent."

And is the comma " , " symbol just said "coma" ?

They also like to use periods where we would use commas in numbers! I was reading an article about Haiti that said over 50.000 had died. :( - lisa13, Jan 16, 2010

You would say 7.3% in English as- 7 and three tenths percent. If it was written 7,3% in Spanish you would say- siete y tres décimas por ciento.
