Grammar Game - Verbs in Present tense + animals

Grammar Game - Verbs in Present tense + animals

I´d like to contribute to grammar games, with another one on verbs in Present tense - Indicative mood.

But to complicate it a little, this is about activities made by animals, so you have to think of nouns for animals and verbs for actions performed by them.

You have to write a simple sentence in English and its version in Spanish. For example:

The dog barks in the yard = El perro ladra en el patio.

Enjoy!

It's obvious that your grammar is fine from the clear, well-written English sentences you compose. And from one who is fluent in 2 languages! I'm envious. - 0057ed01, Jan 16, 2010
Great idea, but I made a small change. You typed "it's version" (which means "'it is version'") when you meant to use the possessive pronoun "its." - 0057ed01, Jan 16, 2010
Don´ t be. I know people fluent in 4 or more. - mediterrunio, Jan 16, 2010

6 -. nizhoni, please check your ´ verb´ in the sentence (because zumbido is a noun). and the plural form for ´ mi´too. - mediterrunio, Jan 16, 2010
ok, got a better verb unles "tararean" is a better choice. - nizhoni1, Jan 17, 2010
Not sure why "mi" would need to be plural since I am refering to me and I am only one. - nizhoni1, Jan 17, 2010

Ya que hemos llegado al la categoría de animales salvajes:

Los puerquillos juegan en el lodo, bestidos de su propio cuero y los otros puerquillos juegan en la bolsa de valores, bestidos de camisas blancas.

Now that we have arrived at the savage animal category:

The little piggies play in the mud, dressed in their own leather, and the other little piggies play in the stock market, dressed in white shirts.

Here's a nursery rhyme that is common:

"Los pollitos dicen 'pío pío pío' cuando tienen hambre y cuando tienen frío"..

The chicks say "peep peep peep" when they are hungry and when they are cold. (sounds better in Spanish, doesn't it?!)
