How can I insert a hyperlink into my answer?

Sometimes it is useful to link to another site when answering a question but I'm not sure how to do that.

When you are typing your response in the answer box, there is a picture of a globe. Click on it and then paste the web address. If you want to do a link, you do the same thing only click on the photo (two places to the right of the globe). I feel it is easiest if I open up another tab so I can cut and paste the links in. Good luck!

Once you've added your hyperlink you can type in the name you want to give your link inside the brackets where it says [link text]. - lachelvi, Jan 15, 2010
