What does this phrase mean?

Such is life. So basically, I give up. Comes from a French phrase.
Although the French expression sounds just the same, Se la vi means I saw it in Spanish. Something previously mentioned has been replaced by the pronoun la in this phrase and the context provides the full meaning.
For example. Graciela compró una motocicleta nueva. *Se la vi en el garage.* (la goes for una motocicleta nueva)
(watch out! you can also say Se la vi referring to someone´s privates you have secretely seen. Send PM for further explanations and examples since there are Rules of Conduct in this site)
I think this turned up here once before and turned out to be a play on "c'est la vie" (French).
good bye (i think it's french) (i just guessed)
