¡Hola!, LadyLove:

Aquí ----> pila, nuestro diccionario explica que "ponerse las pilas (informal figurative) ----> to get moving or get cracking." Here ----> pila, our dictionary indicates that "ponerse las pilas (informal figurative) ----> to get moving or get cracking."
"Ponerte" es la segunda persona del singular (familiar) del imperitivo del verbo "ponerse". "Ponerte" is the 2nd person singular imperative of the verb "ponerse".
Para mi, "Ponte las pilas" significa, en inglés, "(You [familiar]) Get going" o "Get cracking". For me, "Ponte las pilas" means, in english, "(You[familiar]) Get going" or "Get cracking".
Parece ser deletreado correctamente. It appears to be spelled correctly.

Yes! It is an expression that mean "get a move on", or "get going". Literally "ponte las pilas" means "put on your batteries".

Welcome to the forum.

Yes, but it's slang... Ex.: Ponte las pilas en la prueba / Get going on test - Carlos-F, Jan 12, 2010

Welcome to SpanishDict! smile

"Las pilas" is the correct way to spell 'batteries'. But what are you trying to say? "Ponte" may not be the right word here.
