Hi: I am writing a story in which a Mexican character refers to someone who cheats him, like a swindler or con man. What is the idiomatic term that a Mexican native would use? Bergante? Estafador? Something else altogether? Slang is okay, I just want him to sound authentic! Thanks!

Maybe tramposo, estafador or trapacero. Just some suggestions.
