Comments for flashcards?

Question

Just a thought I was having the other day when looking through some of the flashcard sets...

Is it possible, and how would everyone feel about a comments section at the bottom of each flashcard set where members could post comments, questions and problems specific to that set of words?

Often I'll be fine with a flashcard set but get stuck on just one or two words, and sometimes I make up little ways of remembering those words until I can cement them into my memory. (i.e: dormir: to sleep; I remember this by "dormitory: sleeping quarters"). Things like this are far too general and trivial to start an entire thread on, but maybe they'd help at specific learning points for these words?

Anyway, just something I thought I'd put out there! Write your feedback on the idea, and admin if you could share your feedback and also let us know if it's possible to do if the idea is well liked.

HI the other, we had this system on the old forum, this site was renewed not too long ago.

I will forward the idea, let's see what the creator think, however, I don't think this will be possible, if it was taken out I guess it was for a reason.

I agree, it would be nice to be able to put notes on flashcards. Especially when there are errors on cards made by users who are no longer active or not on the site very often.

That would be Awesome! I always wonder also if there is a more common way of saying something from the flashcards I create. Sometimes I have questions too. That would be a great way to get and give feedback.

Unfortunate, but if it can't be done, it can't be done. A good idea from Christopher to link the flashcard sets into forum posts. Thanks for chasing this up Heidita

Here I am back again, unfortunately with bad news:

Unfortunately, I don't have the bandwidth to add that feature. I guess the best we can do for now is discuss them in the forum, but have a link to the flashcard set.
