Would you use tomar in saying to take the exam again? (I'm trying to say they retook the exam)

to take the exam again
- Repetir el examen.
- Volver a presentar el examen.
- Realizar el examen otra vez.
- Tomar de nueva cuenta el examen.

The "again" is in the translations listed above. Repetir el examen Volver a presentar... Realizar el examen otra vez

Also how would you say 'again'? As in taking an exam again..Do I use volver or otra vez?
