How do you say " Internship" in spanish?

I need to help translating the word "internship" as an student doing an Internship abroad.

It says "practicas profesionales" or "practicas en empresa" . I found this agency that search internship in spain but I dont know how they work DEMG-INTERNSHIPS good luck!! - flowerpower123, Jul 11, 2012

I think the "internship" in our dictionary (el internado) applies only to a medical internship.

At wordreference.com, I found "aprendizaje", "prácticas", and "pasantía". All of these seem to relate to training periods for professions like law and engineering. (You can look them up here).
