Doesn't the word tí have an accent when it's used as an indirect object?

Esto es para tí.

Has there been a change since I studied Spanish in college? Is the accent no longer needed?

Ti is only used as an object of a preposition, so there is no need to distinguish it from something else by adding an accent.
