According to wiki.name they are "nubes"

According to answers.com they are "malvaviscos, "esponjas" dulces, or melcochas"

Answers on yahoo answers include "Golosina de merengue blando, merengue blando, merengue, bombones"

Malvaviscos refers to the name of the plant which marshmallows are named after in English and apparently is used for the confection in Spanish as well.
