I think you might have misspelled the phrase. I believe it should read "Hasta el año que viene!" which literally means, "Until the year that comes!" or "Until next year!"
yep, that's right. If you are chatting online you will quickly learn that Spanish speakers chat like we do. They shorten, misspell, and abbreviate. It's sometimes difficult to understand.
hithere3387 hit the nail on the head. It means, "Until that year/time comes". It has been severely shortened the wrong way though. Typically (even in English) you put an apostrophe in place of where you're droppin' letters, as you can see i'm doing. Notice in the compound word "you're" I put an apostrophe instead of writing out, "you are". Or as well, to compensate for slang pronouciation, I drop the "g" on the end of "dropping" and put an apostrophe. 
So, saying, "Asta l'ano que viene!" would imply they're writing, "¡Hasta la año que viene!" which would be wrong because "año" is a masculine word. 
But anyways, when is short-hand/ slang ever logical right? Jaja, hope this bit is useful.
