"Importar" - grammar question!

In the following poem lines, should "importe" be "importa"???
Porque me dan el poder, no importe la talla, para construir...

Both are correct. "no importe la talla" is subjuctive, giving us the feeling of continuing into the future. "no importa la talla" is for now at the moment.
