which is correct? "los indigenas" or "las indigenas"

"los indigenas" if you are talking about ALL indians (male & female).

"las indigenas" if you are talking about a group of all women, who are indians.

It depends on whether you're referring to women or men.

If women, las indigenas. If men, los indigenas.

Or at least that's what I understood from the entry in the site's Dictionary, which is at the top of this screen. Click on it, type in the word indigena, and see if you agree.
